Some days ago,a customer ask me that his rice steam heater element work more slowly than before.But the power is still 4kw ,not changed.
To analyze it, we must check the following information:
1. Current voltage for single heating element and the voltage of the previous heater element.
2. Is the previous wiring method different with the current wiring method?
As I know that the current voltage is 380V and power is 4kw,the previous one is also 4kw but the voltage is not clear.
I ask the customer to test the resistance value of the old heater element ,and caculate the previous voltage is 220V.
So,compared with the current voltage,let us see if the connecting way is right or not?According to customer's connecting chart,he use "star connection" way,now he still use this way!
So now he should use the triangle connection ,if still use the"star connection",the power will be loose 1/3,that is why his rice steamer heater work slowly.
