We develops immersion heaters for heating and warm keeping of oil and oil-based products. Immersion oil heater element with the right power distribution, material and control are an effective and precise heating source that requires minimal maintenance. In our design we are taking the characteristics in account and produce an immersion heater that is gentle to the liquid and properly adapted for the process.
Oil Immersion Heaters are used in a variety of area where oils or viscous fluids need to be heated. Mostly it is used in industrial requirements. They are meant to be installed in pipe bodies, tanks, or pressure vessels with typical pipe sizes.Immersion heater for oil tank can control the temperature of oil precisely, it is helpful for industrial processes.
Direct contact heating allows rapid heating for large amount of the oil.These heaters are easy to use and maintain. Some are made from corrosion-resistant materials such as Incoloy.
The surface load of immersion heater used for heating oil is limited by the medium. That is, the prerequisite should be to ensure that the oil on the surface tube does not get damaged. Since the convective heat transfer of oil is closely related to its viscosity, and viscosity is determined by the oil's temperature. For example, when the oil temperature of a diesel engine is between 5-8°C, its convective ability is very poor, and when it reaches 180°C, its convective ability is even worse than that of water. Therefore, the conditions for heat transfer from the surface of the immersion heater to the heated oil are much worse than in water. This is why when heating water with the heating tube, the surface load designed can be much higher than that when heating oil.

The applications are as follow:
Oil and gas sector.
Chemical sector: These heaters are used to heat viscous chemicals and sustain reaction temperatures in chemical reactors.
Lubricating Systems: Oil immersion heaters keep industrial machinery lubricating oil at the correct temperature for proper operation.
Some customers ask us why the oil heater element always broken within 3 months purchase from other supplier.
The causes can be followed:
1.The surface load design is too large, the normal per meter heating area power design of the immersion oil heater element can not exceed 1.5KW, and the heat conduction per meter power is 2.6KW. As the fluidity of heat conduction oil is relatively poor, so its power design can not be too large, the higher the power of the heating element, temperature will be higher, when the heat of the oil heater element can not be absorbed by the oil in time, it will accumulate on the surface of the heater element, until the temperature limit of the oil tank heating element is reached and burned out, so there are cracks on the surface of the heating tube in the customer's picture.
2.According to the figure above, we can see that there is black oil scale on the surface of immersion oil heater element, and there are many impurities on the surface of the tube, which indicates that the heat conducting oil heated by the customer is thick and the oil scale forms quickly. The oil scale covers the surface of the heat conducting oil heating tube, so that the heat on the surface of the tube cannot be conducted out.

The power design of heating element is closely related to the nature of heating liquid, so the power design ratio of heating different liquids is not the same.
The power of the electric heating heater for heating water should be designed according to the impurity mass of water.
The power of the heater which heating corrosive liquids should be designed according to the degree of corrosion.
For heating oil,it should be designed according to the consistency and viscosity of the oil.
