Air heater element is common in the industry heating application.Sometimes we can see it burst when using.
What is the causes?
First of all, pay attention to the control and change of temperature. If the temperature of the air heating element is too high, or the temperature suddenly changes greatly, the heating tube may burst due to thermal expansion and cold contraction. Therefore, when it is working, ensure that the temperature is in a safe range and avoid sharp temperature changes.
Secondly, material quality is also a key factor. The material used in the tubes must be able to withstand high temperatures, corrosion resistance, and internal pressure. If the material quality is not up to standard, the tube may crack under high temperature and pressure.
Heat dissipation is also an important cause. If the heat dissipation around the tube is insufficient, it may lead to local overheating, which will cause the tube to burst. So ensuring proper cooling systems can help avoid this.
In addition, excessive voltage or current is also a potential risk. If the supply voltage or current is too large, the electric tube may be overheated, causing the tube to burst.
One more factor to look out for is mechanical damage. During the transportation, installation or using, if the external mechanical damage is suffered, the stress inside the pipe may be concentrated, resulting in a burst.
