Electric heating elements are widely used in a variety of mechanical industry equipment. During the process of application, we often encounter some fundamental problems. Another major problem is that the heating area of the tubes is unbalanced and uneven. Such a situation will cause the heating areas of objects to be heated evenly, failing to achieve the desired effect.
Following we will analyze it
Before production , we must address a very important step first: choosing high-quality resistance wires. The quality of the resistance wire will directly affect the performance of the heating element. Non-standard resistance wires may not be distinguishable from their appearance. However, when in use, it can be found through efficiency that all the selected materials are of low quality, and the electrical conductivity cannot meet the effect. Some parts have good heat generation, while others have poor heat generation.
Uneven gap of the resistance wire
The next step for us is to proceed with the wire tapping process. It is to stretch and wind the resistance wire as per the design requirements. This process should ensure that the gap between the resistance wires is uniform as much as possible. Only after the explosion-proof heater is powered on,it can heat the object evenly. Otherwise, the temperature in areas with high density will be higher than that in areas with low density. This process is very important!
Improper filling of magnesium oxide powder
We know that the filling material inside electric heater is magnesium oxide powder. However, most factories still use manual filling at present. This will lead to the inability to control the tightness of the interior properly during filling. The overly tight part will heat up more slowly, while the overly loose part will heat up faster.
