In general, single-head heating element or double-head heating element is used for mold heating, in which single-head heating element(cartridge heater element) is the mostly used.
Structure of the cartridge heater element for mold:
1.Internal lead: heating tube lead directly from the internal lead, lead is not easy to break, but the cost is high, usually used for the production of imported process;
2.External wiring: the lead wire of the heating element is led by the lead rod, and then connected to the high temperature line, low cost and widely used.
Selection of cartridge heater element of mold:
1. Confirm the diameter of the heating tube according to the aperture of the die hole. Usually, the gap between the two is between 0.1-0.2mm.
2. The length of the single-head heating pipe of the mold is determined according to the length of the opening.
3. The material of the single-head heating tube of the mold is determined according to the working temperature of the mold.
Advantages of the mold cartridge heater element:
1. Easy installation: punch holes in the mold, and then insert the heating tube directly into the mold hole;
2. Convenient connection: one end of the wire out of the structure can be connected in a limited space, can be used at the same time, performance will not interfere with each other;
