Srew plug water tank immersion heater element is of a variety styles for multi usage. All the tube elements are made of Nichrome heating wires, sheathed by pure stainless steel or Incoloy and Insulated by 99% purity Mgo , which gurantee long life span up to 15000 hours. The gaps are filled and compacted with magnesium oxide powder with good insulation and thermal conductivity. Both ends are sealed with silica gel or ceramics.It has the advantages of good heating efficiency, uniform temperature, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and good safety performance.

What should we do if there is water leakage at the connection point of srew plug water tank immersion heater element
Leakage at the connection point may be caused by the following two reasons:
1.As the flange heating element is installed on the external tube which is welded to the water tank, if the weld seam between the external tube and the water tank ages and corrodes, causing cracks, then water leakage will occur at the connection point.

2. It is possible that the sealing ring has deteriorated due to prolonged use, resulting in poor sealing. As a consequence, water leakage will occur at the connection point of the water tank's electric heating element.

Is there immersion heater element which can also be used in water and oil?

The answe is yes! But it is based on some conditions.

As we know that the reason why water heater element and oil heater element can not be mixed using is that the surface load(power /meter)

In the normal case ,the power for water heating is 1-3kw/meter,if the water condition is bad,easily to form the water scale,so the power should be controled at 1-2kw.

The power for oil heating is 1-2kw/meter,if the oil condition is bad,easy to form carbon,the power should be controled at 1kw.

If the immersion water heater element is used in the oil,the temperature can not be absorb so quickly like the water heating.So the surface temperature of the water heater element will be so high ,then the inner temperature will also be higher,when get the limit,the resistance wire will be broken.

So when the surface load of the water heating element is the same or close to the oil heater,it can be used in oil environment.

Installation and Operation tips

Caution: Make sure the heater supply voltage is the same as the rated heater voltage.

Caution: Heater should be properly grounded to prevent electrical shock hazard.

Caution: Do not support or suspend heater from termination or wiring.

A common cause of heater failure is contamination of the the internal heater components through the termination end of the heater. Make sure the heater is protected from contamination in the final application.

Make sure heater termination is not exposed to water or other liquids. Make sure that no dripping from condensation on cold water pipes or other sources can fall on any exposed
