Some customers reflect that the life of the cartridge heater is short, and I will analyze some reasons for you based on my own work experience, just for reference:
1. Low level cartridge heater is used in high-temperature equipment
In high temperature equipment, if you buy the ordinary cartridge heating element, its surface will soon be oxidized at high temperature, so that the cartridge heating element 's surface will be black, causing the life short.
2.For the embedded heating environment, the gap between diameter of cartridge type heating element and installation hole is too large
For the cartridge heating element, the most important thing is to ensure that the heat generated by the cartridge heater can be transferred to the heating medium in time, reduce the temperature of the internal material of the cartidge heater, so as to effectively improve the service life of the heating rod.
We should minimize the gap between the outer diameter of cartridge heater and inserting hole.
3.No temperature control in the heating equipment.
For electric heating element, most need to be equipped with a control system to control the surface temperature of heater element. Without control, the surface temperature of the heater element is easily too high to cause damage.
