Some customers order heater elements, will left some heating elements in the warehouse, and then take them out for standby when needed. But when using it, will found that it was broken and could not be used. What is the reason?
Because the heating element should not be placed for too long, mainly for the following reasons
First, internal factors, as the magnesium oxide powder in the electric heating tube will absorb water, and the heating tube port is not completely sealed, so it will enter the electric heating tube if it is placed for a long time in a humid air environment. At this time the heat conduction role of magnesium oxide powder moisture, so the electric heating tube will not heat.
How to deal with it?
1. measure whether there is resistance value,if no it is broken.
2.if there is resistance, and then see if there is leakage phenomenon, using megohmmeter (insulation resistance meter) to measure the size of insulation resistance, (the greater the insulation resistance value, the better the insulation) if the insulation resistance value is small, it shows that the magnesium oxide powder in the electric heating tube may be affected with moisture to cause the insulation to become weak!
Solution
(1) Put the heater element in the oven to dry and dehumidify the magnesium oxide powder.
(2) Use low voltage to pass electricity to the electric heating tube, but also play a role in dehumidification.
