Before ordering the electric heater element, we should determine its rated voltage, working voltage and wiring method, because sometimes the working voltage is not good enough to connect the heater element and will soon burn out, so some customer may raise questions: if the heating element connected to a lower working voltage can prolong the service life?
Let's take an example: 220V, 1000W electric heater element respectively received 110V, 220V and 380V voltage on what is the difference.
According to the formula: voltage * voltage = resistance * power, when an electric heating tube is done after its resistance is the same value, this time the voltage and power into a direct proportional relationship.
So let's figure out its resistance: 220*220/1000=48.4 ohms
When it is connected to the voltage of 110V, the power is: 110*110/48.4=250W
When it is connected to the voltage of 380V, the power is 380*380/48.4=2983
From the above calculation, we can know that when the electric heating tube of 220V/1000W receives the voltage of 110V, the power of the electric heating tube is 250W, and the power is reduced by 4 times. When receiving 380V, the power is 2983W, which is three times the original power.
We all know that the life of the heating elementis closely related to the surface load of the electric heating tube. The larger the surface load is, the shorter the service life .Therefore, it can be known that the heating element can prolong the service life by reducing the voltage.
However, it is suggested that our customers can deliberately connect the voltage less than the rated voltage of the electric heating tube in order to prolong the service life of the electric heating tube, which will make the power of the electric heating tube smaller, the heat generated less, so that the heating effect can not meet the requirements of the customer.
