How to choose the air heater element

There are two types of  air heater element,one is the heating element working in the air,the other is working in the mold.Now the air heater element we mean is the first one.

 

So how to choose the suitable air heater element?

 

1.Increase the heat sink

 

There are two kinds of air heater element commonly used, one is a smooth stainless steel surface heating element, the other is a smooth stainless steel surface which is wound metal fins. If the installation space is enough, it is recommended to use a finned air heater. Because the fin is wrapped on the surface of stainless steel, it can increase the heat dissipation area of the heating tube and accelerate the heat dissipation speed of the air finned heater. As the heat dissipates faster, it heats up faster.

The air heater element with fins has the advantage of ensuring the service life of the heating element. We know that when the electric heater is used in the air, its heat conduction speed is much slower than the heating tube of heating water or heating metal holes. After increasing the fin, the heat dissipation speed of the dry burning electric heating tube is faster, so the surface temperature will not be too high. If the surface temperature is not high, it will not burn out the dry burning electric heater.

 

Tubular air heater with good life should not only increase the heat sink, but also choose the right material.

 

2.Tube shell material should be selected according to the temperature to choose

 

The operating temperature is 100-300 degrees, and 304 stainless steel is recommended.

 

The operating temperature is 400-500 degrees. Stainless steel 321 is recommended.

 

The operating temperature is 600-700 degrees. Stainless steel 310S is recommended.

 

Working temperature in 700 degrees -800 degrees or so, it is recommended to use incoloy material.
