Description
The fold back heating element for water heater consists of several pieces tubular heating elements brazed to a screw plug. It could be fitted with different accessories such as terminal box, thermostat, safety temperature limiter, etc.
The material can be Copper, stainless steel, incoloy, iron, aluminum.The shape for the Heating Element can be Round, Straight,U type, W type, Double W, customized shape.
The water heater is heated by the heating element through the inner tank,and is equipped with various protective measures (anti-leakage, overpressure, temperature limit) to meet the user's bathing requirements. The core component is the heating element.
To meet different water heater,there are different heating element:
1. Single tubular heating element:This is the most common heating element for water heater,it is cheap,the power can be 1500W and 2100W,the heating efficient is slow and users have to wait more time when it is warm.
2.Double tubualr heating element:mostly middle range price water heater use this design,they are combined with different power,such as 2100W combined with 800+1300W,3200w combine with 1100W+2100W.One tube is submerged design and is close to the botton of the heater,it can heat the water heater tank uniformly.
As the density of hot and cold water is different,so double tubular heating element can achieve whole tank and half tank both selection.It can meet most family use.
3.Spriral shape:In order to meet the faster and more hot water, the electric heating element is also equipped with a vortex "condenser ring" heating tube. The heating element is designed as a spiral "condenser ring" shape. The water flowing through the outlet is concentrated and accurately heated, and the temperature rises 10℃ instantly, which greatly improves the efficiency of hot water output, fully adds the bath hot water, and can be washed for a longer time.
The design is based on customer process conditions: fluid to heat (type and properties), in/out temperature, pressure, heat exchange conditions (stagnant or flowing), and environment conditions (ATEX or not, onshore or offshore, etc.). Flange immersion heaters can be straight or L-shaped.
When the sediment settles in the bottom of your water tank, it will lead your water heater to become overworked and inefficient. It can also cause the water heater to leak.
Another way is to check for leaks coming from the water heater. Your water heater can start leaking due to a bad heating element.
You should use all of your senses when determining if your water heating element has gone bad. It's not just how the water feels that will tell you if the heating element has gone bad, but it's also the visual leak you may spot or the sound that the water heater makes when it's in use.
