Description

Titanium alloy heating element is a new type of electric heater with strong corrosion resistance. It is used for heating  various corrosive liquids. It has excellent aging resistance and good winding performance, and adopts low surface load design. The connector adopts totally enclosed anti-corrosion acid-base, non heating section and overheating safety protection system, which are completely customized according to the customer's requirements. It ensures that the heater is not easy to burn, has a long service life, is fully sealed, does not corrode and does not leak electricity safely and reliably. Applicable temperature is below 110C. The anticorrosive heating pipe has excellent corrosion resistance.

Titanium tubes are suitable for environments and applications where the performance of stainless steel cannot meet the requirements.

The shape of the titanium heating element can be serpentine, U-shaped, spiral tube.

Titanium tubes can be classified to seamless tubes and welded tubes. Welded pipes are made by rolling and welding titanium plates of the same thickness.Seamless tubes are made by cold rolling tube billets through a rolling mill. The tube blank is divided into hot-extruded tubes, with a smooth inner surface and is formed.The cost is relatively high, making it suitable for heat exchange tubes. The inner wall of the inclined perforated tube blank is relatively rough, which is suitable for manufacturing general-purpose tubes and can also be used to make tube targets for vacuum coating.

Titanium alloy heating element is heat exchange device made from TA1/TA2 pure titanium or titanium alloys , featuring light weight, high strength and superior mechanical properties. This product demonstrates superior corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel in humid air and seawater environment. It has strong resistance to pitting corrosion, acid corrosion and stress corrosion, and can effectively resist the erosion of media such as alkali, chlorides, nitric acid and sulfuric acid.

It is precisely processed into spiral, serpentine and other shapes. It undergoes quenching treatment to strengthen its structure, which can significantly enhance mechanical strength and durability.

Compared with copper, aluminum, iron and nickel, titanium has a lower thermal conductivity. The main difficulty in heating it is that when surface heating methods are adopted, the heating time is quite long. When large billets are heated, the cross-sectional temperature difference is large. Unlike the thermal conductivity of copper, iron and nickel-based alloys, which decreases with the increase of temperature, the thermal conductivity of titanium alloys increases with the rise of temperature.

As a core component of the spacecraft thermal control system, titanium heating elements are applied in the propellant temperature control module. In the field of navigation, it has been integrated into the seawater desalination device of ships. Its salt spray corrosion resistance extends the service life. It has better corrosion resistance than stainless steel in humid atmosphere and seawater medium, and has strong resistance to pitting corrosion, acid corrosion and stress corrosion. It also has excellent corrosion resistance to alkali, chlorides, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, etc.
