The rotary switch of the liquid expansion type thermostat is equipped with a temperature probe. When the set required temperature is reached, the liquid inside the temperature probe will expand due to the heat source.

This expansion (increased pressure) causes the partition inside the mechanical temperature control switch to act, blocking the power supply and stopping the power supply. When the temperature drops, the liquid inside the temperature probe shrinks (the pressure drops), the internal partition will return to its original position, and the power supply will continue without being blocked.
