Finned tubular heating element is suitable for most applications where electric heating is required. They can be used in straight form or bent into a variety of shapes, according to the requirements of non-standard customization, so industrial electric heating pipes are generally not in stock.

Concerning the performance requirements of finned tubular heating element, there are the following aspects, finned heater element which   meet the following requirements is a qualified finned heater , respectively:

1. Heat resistance

The finned air heater shall withstand 1000 cycles of heat resistance test under specified test conditions and test voltage without damage.

2. Heating time

Under the test voltage, the time for the component to rise from the ambient temperature to the test temperature should not be more than 15min.

3. Rated power deviation

 Under the condition of full heating,  the rated power deviation shall not exceed the following specified range. The strict range is +10%- 5%, in this range ,the power is qualified

.315 diameter elements are typicallly used for air heating from ambient to 250/275℉ at a minimum airflow of 700 FPM

.430 diameter elements are typicallly used for air heating from ambient to 275/300℉ at a minimum airflow of 750 FPM

.475 diameter elements are typicallly used for air heating from ambient to 450/500℉ at a minimum airflow of 1400 FPM
