Description
The sheath material of a finned heater element and its watt density are two critical factors that affect its durability.
The standard type is made of steel sheath and steel fins (750°F max. surface temperature) since steel is very efficient in heat transfer.
These heaters have a plain surface finish. For corrosive environments or high-temperature applications (above 750°F), finned tubular heater could be made with stainless steel sheath and stainless steel fins.

In the meltblow system, most of the air heater is composed of electric heater, which is made of stainless steel shell and is equipped with a large number of metal heating tube, which is connected to the power supply, when the water pipe is heated, and the heat is sent to the cyclone separator by the fan to transfer heat, and the heat is sent to the cyclone separator, which becomes the high temperature draft cyclone required by the processing technology.
Finned heater element is usually used in the melt-blown heat distribution fan,it can effectively control the air volume and temperature rise.
The output power of the melt-blown air heater is judged according to the margin of air volume and temperature rise.
Insulating layer should be added in the finned heater element for melt-blown fabric.Adding a thermal insulation layer on the surface, it can reduce energy consumption by 5% to 10%, and the energy consumption saved in the long-term operation process is relatively considerable.
There is a loss of working pressure in the finned heater element for melt-blown fabric. When the gas that needs to be heated flows through the interior of the electric hot air heater, there will be a pressure loss, and the greater the pressure loss, the greater the energy consumption of the fan. It is necessary to improve and innovate the layout of the melt-blown electric hot air heater itself to minimize its pressure loss.
