U type finned heater play a major role in the effectiveness of its heat transfer. Fin material is continuously spiral wound tightly onto the element surface to increase the convective surface area for air and non-corrosive gas heating.Other various shapes  can be made to meet different customers' demand or application.

It  is made of stainless steel or iron, as long as the size and power are the same,  its thermal efficiency is the same. So the difference of the iron and stainless stell finned heater element is the service life.

When customers order U type heating element, at this time we will confirm the center distance of the elements with them. Why`do we need to reconfirm the center distance of the U-shaped heater?

The center distance of the heating tubes follows certain standards. If the distance between the tubes is too close, it will increase the difficulty of production and also affect the service life of finned heater. Then, what determines the center distance and what is the corresponding standard? 

The answer is the diameter of the heating tube. The diameter determines its curvature, and the curvature determines the center distance. 

U type finned heater for heat exchanger  has strong oxidation resistance, anti rust, durability, moisture resistance, and slightly higher cost. Iron material, if it has been continuously heated for a long time, will not get rust, the cost is low. However, if the humidity of the environment is high, or it is not often used, then the tube is easy to rust, and the heater is directly scrapped. You can choose which material to use according to your use environment.

The u type finned heater for heat exchanger can be composed of only one or several finned tubes, such as a finned tube radiator for indoor heating; It can also be equipped with a shell, fan, etc., to form an air cooler type heat exchanger.

Finned tube is the main heat transfer element in heat exchanger. The inner and outer fluid exchange heat through the tube wall and fin. Heat transfer is improved because the fins expand the heat transfer area.
