Spring nozzle band heater is designed for vertical and horizontal injection molding machines. With its compact size and excellent performance, the band heater plays an important role in the injection molding process. It has features of efficient heat transfer,the use of high-quality electric heating materials, to achieve rapid heating and stable heat transfer. Spring nozzzle band heater is also referred to as cable heaters. It is used in blow molding, plastics extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, hot runner systems, and custom die applications. It can provide rapid heating and cooling due to its low mass construction, and tubular coil heater is sealed from contamination. The sheath of a coil heater can be made to be corrosion-resistant in very harsh environments.
It has many applications but are mostly utilized as powerful heating cells inside hot runner nozzles in plastic injection molding. Spriral coil heater can accommodate "J" type or "K" type thermocouple sensors that could be placed internally at the tip or the middle of a heater.
