Description
A brass band heater is a type of electric heater that is used to heat small parts and components. It is usually made from brass or other metals and consists of several bands of wire wrapped around a cylindrical core, usually insulated to reduce heat loss. Brass band heaters work by converting electrical energy into heat energy, which is then transferred to the parts being heated. Because brass is an excellent electrical conductor and has good heat transfer properties, brass band heaters provide efficient and uniform heat distribution across the part being heated.
Brass band heater is completely against external agents such as melted plastics. Band heater are very resistant to wearing and shocks. High watt-density per square centimeter allows a fast and safe reaching of required working temperature.
