Temperature sensitive cartridge heater is the type with Built-in thermocouple.It is used to test the temperature of the cartridge heater.

Built-in K type thermocouple temperature range: -200~800 ℃

Built-in J-type thermocouple temperature range: 0~400 ℃

The cartridge heater with thermocouple is generally used in the mold environment where space is limited but the heating element needs to be prevented from overtemperature or reflect the mold temperature. If conditions permit, it is recommended to choose an external thermocouple to measure the temperature as far as possible.On the one hand, the external thermocouple can reduce maintenance costs, and on the other hand, the external thermocouple can reflect the temperature of the mold more accurately.

We can install a temperature sensor for protection and monitoring on each cartridge heating rod. Of course, we also have an inner hole type heating rod that allows users to adjust the installation of the sensor and the temperature measurement position by themselves.

In the process ,there is no big difference between the cartridge heater with thermocouple and the common cartridge heater element.

Only the temperature probe of the thermocouple is placed inside the heating tube, and then the positive and negative wires of the thermocouple are drawn from the inner mandrel of the heating cartridge through the preset wire, so as to achieve the purpose of insulation protection.

They are used in capper,if the capper is broken,it can be replaced. The normal sealing machine heating element is installed in the sealing mold hole, then unplug it directly then, install it in the new sealing machine is OK.

Thermocouple can be optionally installed at the top or the middle.Noted that temperature measured by the thermocouple is not the mold temperature .Built-in thermocouple is mostly used for heater overheating protection.

We must remind it that when we are making the cartridge heater for sealing machine,the tube diamter must be smaller than the assemble hole 0.1-0.2mm.so that the sealing machine heater can be fitted with the sealing mold to accelerate heat conduction, and the heater element can be guaranteed to have a good life

Cartridge heater for temperature sensitive have 4 lead wire, 2 wire is for power connection,the other 2 wire is for thermocouple.

The J or K type thermocouple is inset in the temperature cartridge heater to detect the temperature,one thing need to be pay attention is that the detect temperature should be higher than the mold temperature.External set thermocouple is more recommend.
