400W Low Density Cartridge Heater is an advanced heating solution to meet your industrial heating needs . Operating at 400 watts and 220 volts, it delivers substantial heating power, making it suitable for industrial processes. The stainless steel house guarantees both durability and resistance to corrosion.
The standard termination for low-density cartridge heaters is Type F, consisting of 254 mm (10") internally connected flexible lead wires with high temperature insulation,UL approved for 300 or 600V service and temperature rated to 250°C (482°F).
Resistance wire and lead wires are mechanically spliced with heavy wall nickel connectors for a positive electrical connection.

Tips of minimizing failure of the cartridge heaters
Don't let contamination get onto a heater, especially near the lead-wires or screw terminals. Even a dry contaminant could liquefy when heated.Try to hold and transport heaters by handling the heater body. It's very tempting to handle a heater by its lead-wires, and often there's no problem in doing so, but it's good to get into a habit of handling heaters by their bodies to avoid possible damage to the lead wire connections. If the heater was powered, obviously, wait for the heater to cool down before handling!

Power supply voltage error
Incorrectly specifying the supply voltage can cause the heater to fail prematurely because the voltage can have a huge effect on the power and heat generated
Moisture or invasion
Even when drum heaters have helically welded end caps, they are prone to failure if the air around the heater contains high amounts of impurities or moisture and the heater wires are not adequately sealed.
