Description
Cartridge heating element with thread is mainly used for efficiently heating tools and workpieces. To this effect, the heating cartridges are pushed into a hole in the tool and fixed there. Different diameters and designs make sure that the temperature distribution matches the specifications as well as possible.
Installation diagram or points need attention of cartridge heater
We have placed the resistance wire as close to the outside shell as possible. The MgO powder insulation around the loops is compacted by swaging, which makes the heat transmission very efficient. Our high-density cartridge heaters can have up to 200 w/in2 watt densities.
Threaded cartridge heating element is made by the procosee that welding thread on the basis of cartridge heater, thread can be metric thread, pipe thread and so on. They are generally used to heat liquids, such as water, oil, corrosive liquids, etc.
The material of the threaded cartridge heating element can be as follows:
If heating the water for use,recommend ss304,ss321.
If heating the drinking water,recommend ss316L.
If the water is bad condition:recommend ss316L and ss310s,incoloy800.
Matters need attention:
For the cartridge heater of the mould, the most important thing is to ensure that the heat of cartridge heating element can be transferred to the heating medium in time, reduce the temperature of the internal material of mold cartridge heater, so as to effectively improve the service life of the fast heat cartridge heater.
Mold heating require uniform heating,so how to promise cartridge heater uniform heating is a important isssue:
1.In the process ,the heating resistance wire should be placed in the middle of the heating tube.The MgO powder should be pure ,without impurities and moisture.
2.The gap between the mold hole and heating element should be 0.1-0.2mm.If the gap is too big,it will cause the uneven heating,if more serious, the heating element will be broken.

High voltage insulation resistance is a very important safe index,so how to improve the insulation resistance?During the process of cartridge heater,there is a very important process ,tube shrinkage.Before the tube shrinkage,there is still gap between the magnesium oxide powder ,the cartridge heater can not achieve the best insulation resistance and thermal conductivity.The shrinkage process can highly improve the insulation and thermal conductivity of the cartridge heater elememt.
