1. Product Introduction
Teflon coated immersion heater is mainly applied in the heating scenarios of corrosive liquids in industries such as electroplating and chemical engineering. Its core structure is a stainless steel (SUS316 or SUS304) tube with a PTFE tube wrapped inside. It has excellent anti-aging properties and good bending performance, and is suitable for temperature control below 110°C.
Teflon heater adopts a low surface load design (1.5w/c㎡) and can be made into various shapes such as spiral, L, and U.
When installing the teflon coated immersion heater, it is necessary to pay attention to preventing solid substances in the solution from depositing on the surface of the heating pipe, or if the liquid is too thick or the liquid level is too low, it will cause poor heat dissipation on the surface and burn out the PTFE.
The size should not be reduced at will, nor should the surface area be decreased; otherwise, the surface power of the teflon heater will be too high, affecting its service life. It can be equipped with over-temperature protection or PT-100 temperature sensors to ensure product service life and equipment safety. The joint adopts a fully enclosed acid and alkali resistant design. The non-heating section and overheat safety protection system are all custom-made according to the customer's requirements.
Compared with teflon sleeve, the advantages of the the teflon coating process makes the corrosion resistant material directly fit to the heating tube wall without gap, the heat transfer effect is faster, and the coating is not easy to fall off. Due to the different process of teflon sleeve, there is a gap between them, which is easy to hinder heat transfer, so that the temperature in the gap is too high, which directly leads to the teflon sleeve burning out and can not play the role of anti-corrosion.
According to the corrosion properties of different chemical materials, teflon coated immersion heater use stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316L, stainless steel 310S, titanium tube and other shell materials.
2. Material selection:
For the quality of the stainless steel tube, the quality of the material is very important.Reasonable selection of raw material of electric heat pipe is the premise of ensuring the quality of electric heat pipe.The selection of material includes the following points for reference:
Ø Selection principle of tube material: temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
Ø Selection of resistance wire.
Ø Selection of magnesium oxide powder.
Ø Selection of sealing materials.
3. Technical features:
Ø Electric heat pipe material: stainless steel SUS304, SUS321, SUS310S, INOC800, INCO840,COPPER.
Ø electric heat pipe diameter Φ 6 ~ 30 mm.
Ø Sealing style of electric heat pipe: Epoxy (EPOXY resin) seal, GLASS(GLASS) seal.
Ø Electrical performance of teflon coated water heater element: the insulation value of over 1 year is greater than 10000M, and the leakage current is less than 0.5mA.
4. Notes for use:
Ø components should be stored in dry, if placed because of long-term and reduce insulation resistance less than 1 megohm, can be in around 200 ℃ oven drying several hours (or components of low voltage through several hours), if restoring insulation resistance.
Ø When carbon is found on the surface of the pipe, it needs to be used again, so as not to reduce efficiency or even burn out the components.
Ø When the solid oil such as melted asphalt and paraffin is used, the voltage should be reduced and then the rated voltage will be increased after melting.To prevent the power concentration from reducing the service life of the components.
