2.When changing the water, be careful, do not let the water level get too low to expose the PTC heating rod.

It is also important for the place of the PTC heating rod.The heating rod should not be buried in the bottom sand or in direct contact with the glass.It is better to lay the heating rod sideways or flat, although this may not look good.
It is better to add a casing to the heating rod to prevent the fish from burning. If there are two PTC heating element inside the finsh tank, try to divide them on both sides of the finsh tank and heat them evenly. The thermometer should be placed furthest away from the heating rod to ensure that the water temperature is not coming from the hot water that has just been heated.
